We allow you to set your own price when placing orders from us. Why do we do this? There are several reasons.

First, we are not a mega-huge online company. We cover a lot of local events in the community, therefore we are familiar with our target audience. And we trust them to treat us fairly when it comes to payment for the products we provide.

Second, it is better to allow you to pay us what you think our work is worth, in your eyes. It will make us both feel good about the transaction. In the end, we expect prices to average out around a fair market value anyway.

Third, the nature of our products are unique in that they can be purchased as digital files. The cost for us to produce those is next to nothing. Therefore, if you have your own printer at home, or prefer a different online photo printing service, we feel like you should have the option of purchasing the digital copies. Everyone and their mother knows you can run off 4x6" prints for $.30/copy at various places. We don't feel the desire to charge a huge markup for making hardcopy prints (see our note on shipping)-- therefore the only thing left for us to accept payment for is the content of the image. And we let you decide the value of that, since you are the best judge.

A note on fundraisers: all prices for fundraisers are predetermined. However, we pass on 100% of the proceeds (after shipping, materials and handling) to the benefactor of the fundraiser.
